Airplane Pro

Juliet was a total pro on the flights to and from the east coast. She was also very excited to arrive at baggage claim.

Congratulations to Danna and Ben...

...whose wedding we attended on May 11th in New York City. What a beautiful bride and what a lucky groom!

All This Socializing Is Really Exhausting.

Dinner at RESTO

We had a fabulous dinner at RESTO, one of New York Times food critic Frank Bruni's favorite restaurants. It is one of our favorites too. Try the bitter ballen!

Check out cousin Abbey's amazing necklace! And the bump containing Juliet's baby cousin, EDD 9/08!

Hello Again, Strawberry Dress

Juliet wore her strawberry dress which made Francie very happy (loyal readers will recall that the strawberry dress was a gift from Alan and Francie to baby Emily). Alan claims that he was the one who went to Bergdorf's to buy said dress at Francie's request. If this is true, we are impressed by Alan's good taste. But we are continually impressed by Alan's good taste in general. After all, he was the one who first sent us to our favorite Parisian restaurant, Recamier, and told us to sit outside. And he was right!

Les Raskins

At Leroy Street playground with Greg Raskin, Jackie Weiss, and Daphne and Morris "the Moose" Raskin.

Ella Topkins, Future Gourmande

Ella Topkins is one of Juliet's top role models insofar as she already takes cooking classes at age 2.5 and already has a larger vocabulary than most federal prosecutors.

E-Z Pass

Juliet also hung out with Ezra Zbar, who kept hollering "baby!" It was nice for Ezra to be the boss for ten seconds.

Three Little Girls in One Straight Line

Juliet visits with Sabrina Jane Zbar and Natalia Hinojosa Hecker.

Natalia had to roll some calls during the photo session.

Power Nap

Power breakfasts often must be followed by power naps.

Agent 007

This is not baby's first power breakfast, but it is her first power breakfast in New York, starring superagent Jennifer Joel of ICM. We ate at Norma's in the Parker Meridian. Yum.

Baby's First NYC Taxi Ride

You people.

Can't we ever just stay in one place for a minute?

Baby's First Dinner at Les Halles

We did not see Anthony Bourdain at Les Halles, but we did sit next to a case of meats.

Meeting Aunt Kate

Breakfast of Champions

The grown ups had delicious waffles with strawberries courtesy of Nana, but Juliet was happy to eat her hand for breakfast.

Planes, Trains and Automobiles

This is the "train" portion of Juliet's east coast jaunt. Model trains, that is.

Riding in the antique car with Daddy Larry

Rumble seats are perhaps not the safest place for babies, but they are definitely the cutest.

Cocktail Hour at Daddy Larry and Nana's

Everyone wants in on the martini action. Even Juliet.

Meeting Muzzy

Juliet had the tremendous honor to meet her great-grandmother Muzzy, who was "thrilled" to make Juliet's acquaintance.

More Aunties

Juliet was very pleased to meet Great Aunt Caren, Great Uncle Jon, Cousin Caroline, and Great Great Aunt Maxine during the Philadelphia portion of her trip.

Here, Cousin Caroline demonstrates how Juliet will look with hair someday.
